A passion for teaching children and a lifelong association with swimming on all levels, lead to the founding of our swim school in Ormeau in December 2017. We identified Ormeau as a good central location with a wider catchment area, and proudly can say today that our unique brand of learn to swim experience attracts swimmers within a 20km radius; from as far north as Shailer Park and Slacks Creek; and as far south as Helensvale and Tamborine Mountain.
As owner-operators of the swim school, Ann and Greg have a wealth of experience in swimming. As swimmers themselves, they steered their children through club and state-level competitive swimming, as well as open water swimming; with Greg serving for many years as a swim club chairman, competitive swimming official and judge up to state level.
Ann has 15 years’ experience as a learn to swim teacher and centre supervisor, and our unique program is fashioned by the understanding and expertise she gained from teaching thousands of children over the years.
Children learn better and faster when they are happy, and we have considered this in all aspects of our learn to swim environment.
Our privately-owned boutique swim school is unlike busy and noisy council pools. When children walk through our front door, they immediately feel the warm, inviting, fun themed environment. Parents frequently compliment our facilities and high standards of cleanliness. Simple things like baby change tables supplied with baby wipes, showers with kids bodywash/shampoo, change cubicles, and even hairdryers – these make the swimming experience enjoyable for everyone.
Our 33°C ozone and UV treated pool water is Healthy Swim Certified providing healthy swimming conditions all year round.
